Store/Floor Manager
We are seeking a positive, energetic and enthusiastic leader that can effectively run store operations as well as successfully manage people.
Includes ensuring employee compliance with job duties as assigned at each department of the store (wine tasting, cheese tasting, deli, shipping, and front cashier). Assist with ordering inventory from vendors to be sold in the store, assist in ordering food/nonfood items to stock the deli supply, and order any store office supplies. Handle all store day to day operations such as customer related issues, structural/building issues, catering/deli requests, freight delivery and product issues. Assist in pricing all products, maintain store inventory as appropriate for the time of the year. Maintain POS system for the store. Report to the owner store issues and resolutions as needed. Set up and assist in coordinating events and reach out to vendors asking for interest in participating in future events.
Must Haves
Must be self motivated with the ability to multitask & strong attention to detail.
A willingness to review store environment and key business indicators to identify problems, concerns and opportunities for improvement.
Social media savvy
Maintain location cleanliness and understand and follow health department regulations.
Provide coaching and direction to the store team to achieve operational goals.
Strong customer empathy with the ability to turn negativity into great customer experiences.
Monday-Friday Occasional weekend required.
