Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual for the role of General Maintenance & Landscaping Technician at our large RV Resort. The ideal candidate will have a general understanding of plumbing, electrical systems, and experience with both power and landscaping tools. We are willing to train the right candidate who is eager to learn and provide excellent service. This role involves a variety of tasks to ensure the cleanliness, functionality, and overall appeal of the resort.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
Landscaping & Grounds Maintenance: Landscape sites for arrivals and departures, mow lawns, trim bushes, and maintain resort grounds.
Pet Stations: Refill and empty pet stations regularly.
Waste Management: Attend to the dumpster area, remove trash from bathrooms and office spaces.
Propane: Fill and deliver propane to customers.
Firewood Services: Split, stack, bundle, and deliver firewood to guest sites.
Notices: Deliver resort notices to guests.
Customer Requests: Fulfill special requests from guests in a timely manner.
Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain and keep work trucks clean.
Fish Station: Clean and maintain the fish station area.
Wastewater Management: Pump and dump wastewater from customer RVs as needed.
Tree Services: Provide tree trimming and removal as required.
Repairs: Assist with electrical, plumbing, and other general repairs.
Remodeling: Participate in remodels or improvements around the resort.
Emergency Repairs: Provide after-hours emergency repairs when necessary.
Road Maintenance: Perform road upkeep to ensure smooth and safe access throughout the resort.
Pump System Maintenance: Repair and maintain resort pump systems.
Bathroom Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of resort bathrooms.
Special Projects: Undertake special projects as assigned by management.
Requirements:
General knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and use of power and landscaping tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot basic maintenance issues.
Ability to perform physical tasks and work in various weather conditions.
Excellent customer service skills.
Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work after-hours for emergency repairs as needed.
