Kennel Assistant and Dog Walker.
$15 to $17 per hour.
Dog breeder in the Pistol River area is seeking a weekend kennel assistant and dog walker. The position has about 10 to 12 hours per week available. Help is needed daily starting at 8 am and usually last until 9:30 to 11am. Help is also needed in the late afternoon or early evening and can last 1 to 2 hours.
Duties include:
Walking dogs- You must be able to walk 2 miles in 1 hour on hilly terrain.
Cleaning kennels, yard, and puppy pens,
Feeding /watering dogs and general health inspection of dogs each shift.
Additional duties could include (based on your interest and availability)
Taking adult dogs and puppies to vet appointments.
Whelping puppies.
Grooming.
Socializing puppies and help with taking photos.
