Responsibilities:
Dive safely using a hookah system to harvest clams.
Equalize pressure properly during descents and ascents.
Sort, clean, and prepare clams for market.
Maintain diving and harvesting equipment.
Work efficiently as part of a small, dependable crew.
Qualifications:
Must be physically fit and comfortable working in the water for extended periods.
Experience with equalizing pressure while diving or free diving is important.
Prior experience with diving, surfing, swimming, or other water-based activities is preferred.
Comfortable working in variable ocean and weather conditions.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork required.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Commercial diving experience is a plus, but not required — full training provided.
What We Offer:
Paid, hands-on training in commercial diving and safety procedures.
Opportunity to earn $200–$500 per day, depending on catch and ocean conditions.
Housing available (two rooms for rent).
Work directly on the beautiful Oregon Coast with a small, family-run operation.
If you’re hard-working, dependable, and ready for a challenging and rewarding job on the ocean, we’d love to talk with you.
