Responsibilities
● Bookkeeping and grant tracking support (50%)
○ Utilize QuickBooks for financial record-keeping, bookkeeping data entry. ○ Lead staff on expense tracking
○ Assist the Director with tracking and reporting on grants.
○ Assist the Director with contracts development.
○ Assist the Director with staff on-boarding
● Technology support (25%)
○ Administer (SuperAdmin) for setting up and supporting the Google workspace for staff.
○ Assist in the learning, and full utilization of software platforms for project management, marketplace and facility management. ·
● Other duties as assigned(25%)
○ Planning and supporting events
○ Support the director in setting up board and committee meetings
○ Reviewing and supporting communications
○ Digitizing documents and forms
Requirements
● Proficiency in bookkeeping principles and practices
● Knowledge of Quickbooks software
● Previous nonprofit bookkeeping is a plus
● Familiarity with grants and grant reporting
● Strong tech proficiency, quick learner.
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
● Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
● Understanding of and commitment to social justice, including anti-racism and principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion
● Ability to see, hear, sit, stand, walk, climb stairs. This job takes place in a shared office with occasional variance in noise levels.
