FORT GEORGE BREWERY HIRING FOR MERCH MANAGER

Fort George Brewery has one of the finest merch programs in the brewery world (we're not biased at all). The Lovell Store opened in July and we’ve been moving merch and packaged beer through that space faster than ever. We’re looking for someone to shape and guide the merch offerings at the Fort, schedule and supervise staff in the Store, organize back stock and inventory, assist with the bottle club, and help ship beer all over Oregon State!

This position supports multiple departments. Retail, Direct-to-consumer ops, brewery, and marketing. If you’ve been looking for a role at the Fort with lots of room to grow, and benefits - this is the one.

What Is It – Merch Manager

Where Does It Fit – Marketing Department

When Does It Do Stuff – This is an exempt/salaried position with a schedule that is full-time and variable and could include nights, weekends, holidays, and any other times of peak merch sales volumes.

What Does it Do - The Merch Manager owns the Lovell Auto Co Merch & Beer To Go space, supervises the staff for that area, and keeps the retail side of the Fort George running smoothly. The role involves tracking sales, taking inventory, planning, ordering, communicating with vendors, shipping beer, and assisting with Lovell Auto Co, as well as scheduling, supervising, stocking, and working the retail space.

Who Are We Looking For – someone with excellent written communication who is highly organized across many different platforms of communication and data collection, is familiar with Office Suite/Google Drive, has excellent computer skills, AND someone who is organized, self-motivated, and works well independently.
