Marine Retail Sales Representative (Charleston, OR)

Englund Marine, a leader in the Marine and Fishing industry is looking for an experienced retail salesperson, knowledgeable in marine and boating products for our Charleston, OR location. Our store and our customers need a person who enjoys working with customers to be the solution to all of their product needs. The ideal candidate has a marine product background and is a hard-working team player who has a cheerful, upbeat personality, who wants to be an active driver of the success of the company where they work!
Duties include but are not limited to:
Working with retail customers to find the right parts for their needs
Research hard-to-find products to help people find those parts that are not currently in stock. We pride ourselves in helping each and every customer fill their boating and fishing needs!
Process customer orders using a computer system
Purchase some products direct from vendors
Merchandise the store to facilitate additional sales
Restock shelves from back stock and new shipments
Skills Required:
Extensive knowledge of Boating / Marine a must
Experience with marine electronics a plus
Possess excellent attention to detail
Outstanding customer service skills
Computer experience a plus
Full-Time Requirements:
Job is Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays
Base hours are 7:30 am through 5:30 pm
Longer hours are sometimes required during busy times or special events
Wage: starting at $19.00 an hour
