Part-Time, 1099 contract, warehouse/loader worker wanted. Days, Hours, and start times can vary, but usually will be Sunday & Monday Wednesday & Thursday. Hours would be mid-afternoon and/or evenings (there is some flexibility). Workload can fluctuate as need/volume arises. Generally, Mondays are 6-8 hours. Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays are 2 – 4 hours each day.
Job duties include: Receiving product, unloading trailers, sorting pallets of product, checking product against billing, accurately pulling orders, loading route trucks, and may include moving delivery trucks in our parking lot (we will train the right applicant). Work includes going in and out of extreme cold and/or heat on a daily basis (from 0 degrees F. to 100+ degrees F.)
Must be 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and be able to lift/move 50+lbs for up to 8 hours at a time. Must be reliable, consistent, well organized, and have a "sense of urgency" when working.
Warehouse experience is a plus, but not necessary. Ability to learn to operate a fork-lift and electric pallet jack a must (again, we will train the right applicant).
Pay: $15.00/hr. to $18.00/hr. depending on experience.
