Car Care Specialists has a full time opening for our Automotive Technician Apprentice Program.
There is a current shortage of Automotive technicians . Car Care Specialists has teamed up with Napa Auto Care to bring formal apprentice program to the area.
The NAPA AutoCare Apprentice Program is designed to provide the tools necessary to train future technicians. This program is tailored to individuals with mechanical aptitude with little to no experience and train them to be a professional technician. All it takes is someone who is motivated, driven and willing to learn.
How does it work?
The Apprentice Program consists of completing 9-stages. The program is designed to take 18-24 months to complete. During this time, an apprentice will train through various methods including classroom, online and hands-on training all while making a competitive wage . Throughout the program an apprentice will earn their ASE G1 Auto Maintenance & Light Repair, A4 Suspension and Steering, A5 Brakes and A/C Refrigerant certifications, giving the apprentice credibility as they exit the program as a journeyman.
We are able to register with the Department of Labor. Registration with the DOL opens the Apprentice up to potential government aid.
