Oregon Seafoods is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. Oregon Seafoods is a growing company with locations in both Charleston and Cottage Grove Oregon.
Qualified candidates should have a basic knowledge of tool usage, plumbing, electrical, machinery, computer operation, and building maintenance including painting. Strong machine troubleshooting ability is a plus. This position involves daily preventive maintenance on machines, repairing equipment as necessary and keeping the building and grounds in good repair.
If you do not have a basic knowledge in all the listed areas, but are willing to learn, you are encouraged to apply. We are willing to work with the right person. On-the-job training will be provided. The right candidate will need to be self-motivated, able to work independently, have a desire to develop important skills, take pride in their work, show up every day, and willing to do what it takes to keep the operation on track.
The Maintenance Technician will be scheduled to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturday work may be necessary to complete tasks while the plant is closed.
