HVAC Installer or

HVAC Service Technician

Primary Job Function:

(depending on which position you are applying for) To install or repair heating and air conditioning systems to company standards providing the customer with a high-quality experience.

For installers: Supervise the work of other installers maintaining high quality and timely job performance.

Required Qualifications:

Industry-specific tools needed to complete service calls

Proficient in servicing gas and electric HVAC products including gas furnaces and fireplaces and electric ducted and ductless heat pumps.

Proficient understanding of gas and electric furnaces, heat pumps, gas fireplaces, tankless water heaters, refrigerant, proper installation of all residential equipment, and troubleshooting skills should problems come up on the job sites.

Able to train and supervise others.

Exceptional safety knowledge of tools, testing devices, and surroundings

Must be able to read and write.

Clean driving record, ability to be added to our commercial insurance.

High School Diploma or GED.

General knowledge of all HVAC low voltage systems

General knowledge of home construction.

Ability to consult on customer complaints and give solutions that are beneficial for customers as well as the company.

Attend leadership training classes.

Ability to test and balance systems.

Understand and apply all codes for residential HVAC work.

Dependable smartphone device and transportation.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Operate company vehicle daily.

Follow instructions from the supervisor and carry them out in a timely manner.

Supervise and be responsible for others occasionally.

Report problems with company tools or vehicles promptly.

Work well with customers, co-workers, and subcontractors.

Work staggered schedule if required.

Complete service calls and maintenance services start to finish.

Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.

Complete all necessary paperwork, job packets, inspection reports, and time cards.

Test and balance residential and light commercial HVAC systems.

Other duties as assigned.

Keep company vehicle clean and organized.

Come to work clean and ready to work.

Working in tight spaces.

Work Environment:

Exposed to the outdoor environment and extreme temperatures at times.

Working on-site at the client’s home

Occasional high levels of dust

Salary: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
