Local greenhouse manufacturing company is looking to hire a part time delivery driver. Approx 35-40 hours every 2 weeks.
Job Description:
Your route will typically be a 3 day/2 night trip. Hotel provided. You will leave Waldport with an F250 truck and 18' trailer. You will have 6-12 stops including residences and shipping terminals in both Portland and Seattle. On your way back from Seattle you be stopping at 2-3 suppliers and picking up materials and bringing them back to the shop. There is also a route that goes east to Bend and then south to Medford and back to the coast.
Job specific skills you will have to demonstrate your ability during the interview process:
Strapping down material to a flatbed trailer.
Using Google Maps with ease. We route and track all delivers using Google Maps. If you can not navigate this app with ease, this position is not for you.
Loading and unloading fairly heavy objects. 30-100lbs.
Also Required: a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, drug screening, strong communication and customer service skills, the ability to navigate efficiently, and the capacity to work under pressure while maintaining a safe driving attitude. Our trucks record both video and audio at all times.
You will be the face of our company to our customers. Usually the only team member they ever meet. A clean cut, professional appearance is a must.
