We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Specialist to manage Accounts Receivable and Invoicing within our intermodal transportation operations. This position is responsible for timely and accurate billing, tracking outstanding receivables, resolving invoice discrepancies, and supporting the accounting team with day-to-day financial operations related to intermodal logistics.
Ensure accurate billing for intermodal shipments, including drayage, accessorial charges, fuel surcharges, and detention/demurrage fees.
Review load data from TMS (Transportation Management System) and reconcile discrepancies with operations or customer service.
Monitor AR aging reports and follow up with customers on outstanding invoices to ensure timely collection.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices and payment statuses.
