We are currently seeking a meticulous and reliable Bookkeeper to join our finance team and help manage our financial records with accuracy and efficiency.
Job Summary: The On-Site Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including day-to-day bookkeeping, managing accounts receivable and preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements regularly to ensure accuracy.
Manage accounts receivable ensuring timely invoicing and statements.
Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
Support the preparation of tax returns and assist with audits.
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of industry-specific accounting regulations and practices.
Certification in bookkeeping (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper, CPB).
