We are a leading debt collection agency that provides outstanding service to our commercial clients. We are looking for a motivated, reliable, and ethical collection agent who can handle inbound and outbound calls, negotiate payment arrangements, and follow up on delinquent accounts.
Responsibilities
As a collection agent, you will be responsible for:
-Contacting customers or clients who have overdue debts, informing them of their payment obligations
-Negotiating payment plans or settlements that are acceptable for both parties
-Updating account information and documenting all collection activities
-Complying with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding debt collection
-Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
-Achieving monthly collection goals and targets
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have:
-A high school diploma or equivalent
-At least one year of experience in debt collection or customer service
-Proficient in using collection software and Microsoft Office
-Strong knowledge of collection laws, regulations, and best practices
-Excellent communication and negotiation skills
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
-Ability to pass a background check- Criminal history-we welcome you to apply, as long as there are financial crimes.
