Summit Real Estate Management LLC, a locally owned and professional Property Management firm, seeks a full-time Portfolio Accountant to join our accounting team. Primary job responsibilities would include (and are not limited to):
Maintain collection accounts
Post invoices and process payments
Review lease agreements
Assist community staff with accounting related issues
Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies
Prepare financial packages for review
Perform journal entries and GL account reconciliations
Perform bank reconciliations
Reconcile and process community bill backs
Special accounting projects as needed
Qualifications:
3+ years Accounting experience required (BS degree preferred)
Property management experience preferred
Yardi experience preferred
Advanced computer skills (MS Excel, QuickBooks, Outlook, etc.)
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Positive attitude and team player
Strong candidates will possess a neat, clean and professional appearance. They must have a valid driver's license and pass pre-employment screening. Scheduled work hours to be Monday - Thursday between the hours of 7:00 am - 4:00 pm and Friday from 7:00 am - 1:00 pm.
