Property Manager/Assistant Manager for Private Owner

Property Manager. Looking for experienced person to assist sole owner with managing and maintaining 70 single and multi-family units. We are not a management companyonly our own properties which are very well maintained with low turn-over in mid to high rent ranges. Responsibilities include running rental office, interacting professionally with tenants, vendors, and maintenance crew; keeping all records, accounts, schedules and bills properly posted and organized; handling move-in & move-outs, lease renewals, notifications, collecting rent, making deposits, etc.

Working knowledge of common house repairs, turnover issues, and generating work orders with the ability to understand, prioritize and resolve them in an efficient manner, and to schedule, direct and assist maintenance crew and contractors is absolutely necessary.

Also, please have:

Minimum of high school diploma or GED.

At least two years of experience as assistant/manager of multi-family community.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong mathematical skills and basic understanding of property budgets and financial accounting.

Ability to speak, read and write legibly in English.

Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner; both verbally and in writing.

Our office relies on Excel, QuickBooks, Tenant Tech and Yardi Breezeso experience with these programs is preferred.

Days, hours and good pay ($25-$33) are negotiable depending on abilities and experience. Other benefits not available at this time. Willing to consider live-on-site at reduced rent after 60 days employment. Office and primary 60 unit complex are at Capital Hwy and I-5.
