Featuring three haunted walkthrough attractions, rides and concessions by Oaks Amusement Park, Buried Alive! Experience and much more! ScareGrounds PDX is the largest and fastest-growing Halloween Event in the Pacific Northwest and has been featured nationally on CBS News, Good Morning America, and The Wall Street Journal. About Vendetta Productions LLC: ScareGrounds PDX is produced by Vendetta Productions LLC, a Portland OR based Production Design & Rental Company that offers a wide variety of specialty services for event, film, television, and exhibit. We utilize a wide variety of skillsets and trades throughout our projects which include: set construction/carpentry, cnc, welding, animatronics, sound, lighting, microelectronics, special effects, scenic painting, set decorating, and more.

Vendetta Productions LLC is seeking an individual to fulfill the role of Attraction Manager to coordinate and ensure smooth operations of one Haunted Attraction in their upcoming Halloween event, Scaregrounds PDX. This seasonal job will be offered through weekends in October AND one weekend in November (Friday-Sunday).This position will be located in Portland, OR at Oaks Amusement Park. About Us: Vendetta Productions Inc. is a Portland Oregon based Production Design Company that offers a wide variety of specialty services for film, television, events, feature displays, and more. If you’re from the area, chances are that you’ve seen our work before, we produce the Scaregrounds annually at the Oaks Amusement Park. About the Event: ScareGroundsPDX (https://scaregroundspdx.com) is Portland Oregon's premier Halloween Event and Haunted House held annually at the historic Oaks Amusement Park. As the area's only real scream park, in addition to (3) separate haunted houses, the event also features amusement rides, themed side attractions, mini golf, roller skating, concessions and so much more! Brief: An Attraction Managers primary focus is the performance and wellbeing of their attractions cast during nightly operations. This role is ideal for someone passionate about Halloween, event management, and providing guests/actors with a thrilling and memorable experience Offsite Responsibilities: Attends and helps administer all preseason meetings, auditions, your specific cast workshop, dress rehearsals, etc. Assist in casting/audition preseason process Onsite Responsibilities: Arrive: 5:30-6:00 pm (1-hour prior to open) on operational nights Check-in to assist new cast members about their roles Patrol/walk-through assigned haunt; looking for any safety concerns/things that may need to be repaired/fixed and notifying correct authority before showtime Assist Cast to their places and provide general performance guidance Assist in Cast warm up activities Monitor Cast throughout operating hours Break Cast as needed to ensure continuity of the show Assist in the distribution of nightly food services (when available) Serve as primary point of contact for Security and First Aid Handles (or transfers to the appropriate manager) any issues, cast concerns, guest complaints, special requests, losses, and any other unusual occurrences or situations that may arise at the attraction Helps create a community atmosphere focused on keeping your cast engaged, energetic, welcomed and having fun throughout the season Other tasks may be assigned as directed by other managers/directors Performing another nightly walkthrough (after close) of assigned haunt at close to ensure all actors/actresses are out of the haunt before attraction is shutdown Depart: 11:15pm/12:15am (15-minutes after close, however subject to change on busier nights) Position Details: Compensation: $2,800/seasonLocation: Portland, OR at the Oaks Amusement ParkJob Requirements: Ability to multitask and work in a variety of trades Manage and coordinate actors/actresses Ensure all safety protocols are followed; creating a safe environment for both guests and staff Collaborate with management to enhance the attraction’s theme, design, and overall guest experience Address and resolve any issues or guest concerns in a timely/effective manner Must have a good attitude and be willing to learn new skills Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites Strong leadership and people management skills Excellent organizational/problem-solving abilities Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment Must be at least 18 years of age High School Diploma or equivalent required Ability to work well with others Ability to take clear verbal/written communication/direction Able to communicate with others effectively Able to work in an outdoor environment in various weather conditions Job Recommendations: 1-2 years of experience in customer service, event management (particularly themed attractions or entertainment) or theatre is recommended, but not required.
