The Dog Daycare Lead will assist with animal care, data entry, scheduling and confirming appointments/reservations, greeting all pet parents and dogs, administrative tasks of maintaining our pet management software, data entry of client/pet information, answering pet parent questions via phone and in person, cleaning, preparing dog meals and providing excellent customer service.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Carrying out and attaining the mission and goals of the business.
- Maintaining a strong culture and lead by following company values and mission.

- Greeting all pet parents and dogs.
- Checking in and out dogs.
- Performing front desk administrative duties of data entry, computer maintenance, phone calls, data entry and updating client information.
- Scheduling and confirming appointments and reservations.
- Promoting training, day care, grooming, and boarding packages.
- Supervising groups of dogs in the daycare area at all times to ensure a safe environment.
- Continuously interacting with our daycare dogs, with lots of attention and care.
- Recognizing behavioral issues & address proactively in a timely and effective manner.
- Ensuring daycare areas are continually monitored & kept free of messes by immediate and continual spot cleaning throughout the shift.
- Daily cleaning and sanitizing play equipment, floors, beds, walls and lobby areas.
- MAINTAINING A SAFE ENVIRONMENT!
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Being active and attentive to dogs and pet parents at all times.
- Training any new staff as needed.
Essential Skills:
- Extremely energetic, outgoing, upbeat with a positive personality.
- Must be able to work at a fast pace, in a team environment, and have exceptional customer service skills!
- MUST LOVE DOGS - the noise, the hair, the messes, the love, and the smiles!
Requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 18 years or older.
- Be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Constantly walk and/or stand entire shift.
- Background check.
Availability:
- Hourly position. Flexible scheduling.
Schedule:
- Full-time or Part-time
- Monday to Friday
- Morning or evening shift
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Data entry: 1 year (Preferred)
- Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
- Phone Service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
- Management: 1 year (Preferred)
