Job Title: Check-in Staff for Dome Show at Oregon Museum of Science & Industry

Compensation: $140 for 5 hours
Job Description:
We are looking for a friendly, reliable individual to join our team for a special dome show at OMSI THIS Thursday December 5 2024. As check-in/ticketing staff, your primary responsibilities will include:
scanning tickets via TicketTailor app and greeting/welcoming patrons
looking up guest by name if they’ve misplaced or can’t find their emailed tickets
manage the waitlist for last minute ticket purchases in case of no-shows
assisting with general event setup
keeping the lines managed so that there is a smooth and effective entry into the screenings, on schedule.
Answering customer questions and general customer service.
Requirements:
A positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
Ability to work efficiently and handle a crowd
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

This temporary position has the potential to turn into a recurring role as we build a team in the city, with more compensation for the right candidates.
