How Secondary Academic Advising Works

The Faculty Advisor is there to talk to students about their field of study, course content, and give final approval on the courses they plan to take each term.
Secondary Academic Advisors are in place to connect with students with their faculty advisor, give general advising, and assist students in finding and using campus resources effectively; they are the students’ best contact for understanding school policies and procedures, managing logistical issues, as well as, answering general questions about how to navigate the university.
