We are a certified in-home daycare in NE Portland. We have been growing for the past ten years and are looking for an assistant for our children aged 6 months to 3 years. Diaper changes, overseeing recess, snack time and crafts are the main responsibilities, but the tasks are fluid and team oriented. The exact hours needed are still evolving and somewhat flexible, but will start off part time as 4 or 5 hour shifts, but evolve into 9-5 Monday-Thursday over the winter. The position is salaried @ $21.00 hour. Salary is paid regardless of closure, holiday, or scheduled time off but the expectation is that we all cover each other when we are able. Requirements:
2+ years applicable childcare experience
CBR registration
Child and Infant CPR & First Aid
ORO Safety Set (I can send links and reimburse the cost of these classes)
Food Handlers Card
