West Hills Montessori School is seeking candidates to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year! WHMS was founded in 1968 with the mission to deliver the highest quality Montessori education with a community focus. More than 50 years later, we are continuing to grow and learn through our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

Currently, we are looking for a nurturing, flexible, positive and dependable Toddler Assistant at our Lake Oswego Campus. If you are looking for a supportive, welcoming work environment and love kids that are 15 months - 3 years of age, this is the position for you!

General Information:

Schedule: 9:45- 4:15 pm, Monday - Friday

Start date: January 6, 2025

Requirements include:

● Active enrollment in Oregon’s Central Background Registry

● Current Infant/Child/Adult CPR & First-Aid training

● Food Handler’s Certificate

● Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect training (RRCAN)

● Introduction to Child Care Health and Safety training (ICCHS)

● Foundations for Learning (FFL)

Any applicant who has not already completed the above qualifications, will have up to 30 days after their hire-date to meet these requirements.

West Hills offers a competitive compensation package for the successful applicant. Salary is commensurate to relevant early childhood and/or Montessori classroom experience.
