The Wild Fig Workshop LLC is looking for a full time teacher for the month of August- with potential to stay on permanently or as a substitute.
The hours are 8:30-1:30 Monday-Thursday with some room for flexibility. The pay is 19.00-25.00 per hour DOE. The position is working with the lead Teacher Carrina, to teach in our mixed age classroom. Duties include: cooking lunch or snack, cleaning and sanitizing routines, leading circle, story time and art activities, assisting children in the bathroom. We have 10-12 students from age 2-5 years old. We are looking for someone experienced, enthusiastic and who deeply engages with children and believes in the value of early childhood education. MUST be enrolled in Central Background Registry. We are happy to assist the right applicant with completing required online trainings before they begin. We are open to a work trade/tuition discount for a parent who may want to bring their child with them to work. This small Certified Family Childcare is located conveniently in NE Portland.
