ZCS Engineering & Architecture is a multi-disciplinary Oregon A&E consulting firm that has served clients throughout the Pacific Northwest since 1978. As an established engineering firm with an emerging architectural department, we work collaboratively across disciplines and offices to provide comprehensive services to our clients. Many of our recent projects include substantial renovations and additions for K-12 educational facilities and seismic retrofits of existing buildings. ZCS has four office locations: Grants Pass, Medford, Klamath Falls, and Oregon City.

As a Lead Engineer in the civil engineering discipline, you will ultimately leverage your in-depth knowledge of civil engineering and construction, strategic thinking, collaborative skills, and strong communication acumen to manage projects through completion and develop construction documents. The responsibilities of this position include:

-Utilize experience and knowledge in public infrastructure design for projects ranging from private residences to K-12 campuses and commercial developments.

-Manage project delivery and utilize staff in a team atmosphere to produce projects from concepts through construction including project deadlines and completing projects on time and on budget.

-Perform hydrology calculations (Rational, SCS, NRCS, SBUH methods) and prepare stormwater quantity plans for jurisdictional approval.

-Lead project entitlement through jurisdictional land use planning and project permitting processes.

-4-year or 5-year bachelor's degree or master's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited university required.

-5 years minimum postgraduate civil engineering experience, including but not limited to public roadway infrastructure, commercial & residential development, hydraulics & hydrology, and sanitary sewer & water resources. (preferred, but not required).

-EIT is preferred, but not required.
