Description Robert Half's contract accounting team is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for our client in NW Portland. This role is within the manufacturing industry where you will be involved in various accounting functions, including accounts payable and the use of accounting software systems. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, your primary focus will be on coding invoices. Responsibilities: Efficiently process customer credit applications Maintain precise records Use accounting software systems to manage customer accounts Support the implementation of new software systems Assist in coding invoices and managing accounts payable Gain proficiency in Dynamics NAV for executing accounting functions Contribute to the transition of manual processes to automated ones Stay updated with changes in accounting systems and processes.Requirements Proficient in Accounting Software Systems Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) Skilled in Coding Invoices Proficient in Dynamics NAV Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
