Description The Entry-Level Collections Specialist will assist in recovering outstanding debts from clients in a professional and timely manner. This role is ideal for someone looking to build their experience in finance and collections while working in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
Contact clients via phone, email, and written correspondence to collect overdue payments.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all communications and payment statuses.
Work closely with the finance and customer service teams to resolve payment discrepancies.
Follow up on payment arrangements and escalate accounts as needed.
Assist with generating reports related to accounts receivable and collections.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.
Requirements
Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in collections or a similar role.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Basic understanding of financial principles.
Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and take direction in a fast-paced environment.
