Description We are in the process of hiring a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team located in Portland, Maine. This role entails managing our financial records, including sales, receipts, payments, and purchases. You will be a crucial part of our team, working in a hybrid work arrangement, contributing to our financial accuracy and transparency.Responsibilities Oversee accounts payable, ensuring all vendor invoices are paid promptly. Conduct regular bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records. Ensure all transactions are correctly coded for quality reporting. Assist in setting up new customers and projects in our QuickBooks Online system. Handle the preparation of client invoices to facilitate timely payment. Manage and organize essential documents such as W9s, certificates of insurance, tax-exempt forms from customers and vendors. Generate standard or custom financial reports from QuickBooks for management's use. Collect information and prepare 1099 forms for tax purposes. Contribute to budgeting and financial planning activities as necessary. Provide optimization recommendations to improve the company's financial efficiency and performance.
