Description:Repair and preventive maintenance of conventional manufacturing equipment and CNC machines.Knowledge of hydraulics, turret alignment, pneumatics is a must.Knowledge of CNC machines and controls, forging pressers, as well as heat treat furnaces is preferred.Some welding and sheet metal fabrication.Must be capable of setting up and operating mills, lathes and other repair equipment.This Machine Repairman will work with the electricians and maintenance technicians to install and maintain industrial machinery used in the manufacturing of steering mechanisms for automotive, recreational and heavy vehicle customers.At the start of each shift there will be a production meeting to cover what leftover work there is from the earlier shift. This meeting will also cover work orders and PMs that need to be completed. During the shift the maintenance team will also respond to calls from supervisors or operators on troubleshooting machinery.Equipment on-site:
