Today, we are proud to offer a temporary opportunity to work with a premier auto parts distributor in Northeast Portland, Oregon.Part-Time Student PositionsMonday - Friday $14.00/hrShifts: 6:00AM - 10:30AM10:30 AM- 2:30PM2:30PM - 6:30PM6:30PM - 10:30PMFull Time Positions availableDay Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00AM-2:30PM $14.00/hrSwing Shift: Monday - Friday 2:30PM=11:00PM $15.00/hrJob DescriptionGeneral Duties:o Fill orders by retrieving parts from inventory.o Copy numbers, codes or other information onto shipping/receiving documents.o Pack materials or products into shipping containers.o Seal, wrap and label containers.o Unload, verify & inspect incoming product & supplies for proper quantities and defects.o Stock locations based on established policy & procedures.Qualifications:o High school diploma or equivalencyo Ability to perform physical activities such as, standing, walking and lifting product up to 50 lbs.o Ability to work with detail (e.g., checking numbers, comparing lists.)o Ability to identify flaws and defects.o Knowledge of proper packaging methods.o Ability to write legibly.o Ability to perform repetitive work.o Knowledge of safety requirements or procedures, including certification for machine operation.o Ability to count accurately.o Ability to use arm and hand movements to handle materials and product.The above description of the position should not be considered totally inclusive of all tasks to be performed as other tasks may be added or eliminated as needed to fit the current circumstances.Kelly Services provides employment to more than 750,000 employees annually, with skills including office services, accounting, engineering, information technology, law, science, marketing, light industrial, education, and health care.
