DescriptionMedical Equipment Maintenance Technician - Halsey Bldg-Home Service East PortlandSchedule: Day Shift, Full Time, Tuesday – Saturday or a Sunday – Thursday work week from 11:00am – 7:30pmJob description:The HME Homecare Tech 1 is responsible for providing home medical equipment according to physician orders in a variety of living situations including private residences and long term care facilities. This position is accountable for the safe use of home medical equipment through evaluation of the living environment and education of patients, caregivers, and clinicians on the correct use and function of equipment provided. Required Qualifications:

Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.

In compliance with Providence Health & Services-OR Human Resources policy # 302 'Background Checks' a criminal background check is required for this position prior to hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

1 year of experience in the home medical equipment industry.

1 year of experience in customer service.
