Job SummaryMission: As a Levy Payroll Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing The Levy Difference in Payroll and accounting services to internal and external guests and suppliers. Results are achieved by implementing effective internal controls and efficient processes, through leadership and supervisor skills, and by living our visions and values.Major Areas of ResponsibilityOperationsSupports company initiatives within the departmentHas strong attention to detailBuilds and maintains strong relationships with clients, guests, subcontractors, and Levy team membersMaintains positive relationships with internal and external guests, and ensures prompt response and resolution to all guest inquiriesActs as a liaison with team, including partner’s operational team, Levy team and other areas as needed to ensure efficient operational performanceMaintains accurate and efficient filing of financial archive files and dataCompletes all projects in a timely and professional mannerPayroll and ControlsThoroughly and accurately uses applicable Levy systems (OMS)Ensures required department reports are completed and information is compiled at month end closing Ensures team members adhere to Levy Company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbookCompletes assigned MAP objectives to achieve Financial Services goalsManages employee sick and vacation requestsEnsures all payroll information is accurate and submitted on a timely basisClearly communicates financial results to management on a regular basisEnsures Core Signature standards are maintained for all accounting functionsManages all Administrative Charges and Credit Card tip entriesProvides accurate and targeted financial analysis as requestedProcesses all biweekly union dues and Health and Welfare deductions TeamSupports the Human Resources department to meet operational needsUses all performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to teamDisplays a positive attitude towards team membersPromotes a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and moraleJob RequirementsEnglish reading, writing, math and computer skills requiredMust be able to reach, lift, stoop, bend and perform extensive standing and walking (including stairs) throughout shiftMay be required to perform diverse physical tasksPossible hazards include, but are not limited to; slips, trips, falls, burns, cuts and strainsMust be flexible with schedule, able to work weekendsAbility to use hands in using office equipment, including the computer systemAbility to talk and hear to conduct phone correspondenceClose vision and focus capabilities to view computer screen and company documentsMaintain clean and safe work environment; ability to perform job safely. Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and route the flow of clients and pets to ensure superior client care and maximum productivity of the veterinary medical team. Maximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team through through a productive and efficiently run hospital to support the needs of our wellness plan clients. Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times. This includes encouraging hospital visits, welcoming clients and pets, ensuring that they are comfortable in the hospital, and educating them about their pet\'s health. Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care, pet health needs and hospital services Assist incoming clients by completing the required documentation, entering all pet information and history in the computer, utilizing proper collars and tags for identification, and ensuring prompt service. Assist outgoing clients by providing all necessary instructions, information and invoices, dispensing prescription items per the veterinarian\'s instructions, selling retail products and scheduling future appointments. Manage the finances by maintaining accurate balances and utilizing proper opening and closing procedures. Conduct administrative functions as necessary. Other job duties as assigned.
