You’ll be at the heart of how our airlines will achieve its goals and enjoy the opportunities you’ll have to create a long and satisfying career with us.Role SummaryThe Pilot Training Scheduler is responsible for scheduling pilot training while maintaining compliance with all policies, rules, and regulations. As an individual contributor, this role focuses on the various aspects of pilot training scheduling.Key Duties

Focus on monitoring the day-to-day pilot training operation to ensure all training is efficiently scheduled while adhering to all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, department policies, and procedures.

Request, coordinate, and manage all training department hotel & ground transportation needs.

Coordinate, plan, and administer the contractual monthly Continuing Qualification Bidding Award.

Manage simulator bookings and cancelations based on training needs, including monthly reconciliation and submission to department leadership.

Plan, select, schedule, and manage all qualification ground and sim training, Qualification Operational Experience (OE) trips & Supervised Line Flying (SLF) trips while partnering with other stakeholders on optimization and efficiency.

Plan, select, schedule, and manage all new Instructor and Check Pilot training, and Continuing Qualification Training.

Coordinate observations with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Provide input into the Crew Tracking System (AIMS) by leveraging proficiency to participate in enhancement developments, modification testing, and any efforts necessary to ensure regulatory compliance.

Provide input into the Flight Training Management System (FTMS) by leveraging proficiency in order to participate in enhancement developments, modification testing, and any efforts necessary to ensure regulatory compliance.

Participate in maintenance of the department standard operating procedures (SOP).

Job-Specific Experience, Education & SkillsRequired

Bachelor’s degree or and additional 2 years of relevant crew or flight training scheduling experience.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule (e.g., evenings, weekends, holidays).

Excellent customer service and communication skills (e.g., verbal, written, and listening).

Working knowledge of the Pilot Collective Bargaining Agreement and Flight Ops Training Manual.

Detailed oriented and highly organized, with ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work independently with limited guidance in a fast-paced environment.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum age of 18.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred

Airline Scheduling experience.

System experience in AIMS, FTMS, FLICA, Sabre or NavBlue

An Associate of Arts or an Associate of Science degree
