What your day will look like:

As a Project Associate at Neil Kelly, you will wear many hats. You will use your excellent communication and organization skills to ensure that projects stay on track and Project Managers are adequately supported. This position is a good fit for someone with experience in remodeling and construction and a head for detail. An ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, is tech-savvy, resourceful and can navigate new systems with ease. Project Associates support Project Managers by ensuring cost, schedule, document control, safety standards, and quality standards are met.

The tasks:

Preparing project meeting agendas and coordinating meetings

Monitoring job progress by visiting job sites and communicating regularly with the Project Manager, clients and subcontractors

Procuring building permits and facilitating permit inspections

Ordering materials, picking up and delivering small materials, receiving materials at the warehouse

Creating project information books

Coordinating project logistics and conducting safety checks and inspections

Preparing budgets, billings, schedules and trade-contractor packages

Supporting the Neil Kelly Company warranty program by responding to client concerns and scheduling service work

Skills you have:

Solid understanding of construction project management and/or residential construction experience

Ease with technology- experience with Salesforce and/or other customer management systems is a plus

Ability to use and troubleshoot office equipment such as printers, copiers, and fax machines

Construction mathematics skills

Ability to work well independently but also communicate and connect with your team on process and solutions

Problem solving, time management, organization and prioritization skills

High level of accuracy

No specific degree or certification required, however you must have education and/or experience relevant to job requirements
