Project Manager

Description Robert Half is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to oversee the largest PeopleSoft-to-Oracle Fusion migration project in our organization's history. This individual will be integral to the successful implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud, partnering with SMEs and external vendors to guide the project from final preparation stages through deployment.Key Responsibilities:

Project Management: Oversee traditional project management tasks including timelines, deadlines, change management, deliverables, and project workflows.

Oracle Fusion Migration: Lead the migration of on-prem PeopleSoft systems to Oracle Fusion Cloud, managing governance, documentation, and stakeholder communications.

Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison to the steering committee and executive stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and decision-making processes.

Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with third-party vendors (such as AST) and internal teams to drive the project to completion.

Data and Documentation Cleanup: Work closely with the team to organize and streamline Google Drive data, ensuring it's easy to navigate and maintain.

Change Management: Facilitate organizational adoption of the new cloud-based system, educating staff and ensuring smooth transitions across departments.

Requirements

Proven experience managing large-scale, enterprise-level projects, ideally within technology and ERP environments.

Direct experience with on-prem to cloud migrations, specifically with Oracle Fusion.

Strong experience working with steering committees and executive stakeholders, including clear and confident communication.

Expertise in developing and maintaining project governance and documentation.

Experience working closely with third-party vendors to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.

Deep understanding of project management best practices, tools, and methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with financial ERP implementations.

Strong knowledge of Smartsheet and Google Drive.

Soft Skills:

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Excellent active listening skills, with the ability to reiterate key points and ensure alignment across teams.

A customer-focused approach with the ability to make every internal and external stakeholder feel prioritized.

Strong enterprise experience, with the ability to educate and bring team members along as the project evolves.
