QA Engineer

CSOD is looking for strong engineers with excellent technical and communication skills to be part of the team that develops our enterprise solutions. They will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of our products. They will be part of the core product development team that spans multiple locations.In this role you will:

Design and implement end-to-end functional tests.

Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.

Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.

Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved.

Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.

Deliver on committed timelines with high quality.

Design, develop and execute automation scripts.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software releases.

Follow industry best practices for software testing and maintain high standards of quality.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS :

Bachelors or master’s in computer science or a related field.

2-5 years of enterprise software testing experience with a focus on test automation

Proficiency in least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or C#.

2 years of experience in test automation tool like Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or TestNG.

Understanding of basic CI/CD concepts and experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins

Knowledge of software development methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum practices.

Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, analyze, and debug software defects.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to maintain good working relationships.

Innovative, resourceful, passionate about creating high-quality, high performance and highly available software.
