Job Title: SandblasterJob DescriptionThe Sandblaster will be responsible for removing shell, scale, grinding marks, and other material from castings. This position involves working inside an enclosed shipping container-like box, using grit material forced through an air-hose to remove surface imperfections from alloy parts. The role requires the use of a full mask respirator and involves working in a loud, dusty, and isolated environment.Responsibilities

Perform sandblasting to remove surface imperfections from alloy parts.

Operate in an enclosed shipping container-like box for walk-in sandblasting.

Utilize sealed gloves to manipulate actions for stand-up sandblasting, where parts are inside an enclosed container and the operator stands outside the box.

Use pallet jack, overhead cranes, or hoists to move materials.

Interface with computers to document part movement to and from production areas and plants.

Essential Skills

Experience with sandblasting, shotblasting, and auto body work.

Skills in industrial paint and metal paint preparation.

Strong attention to detail, including accurate handwriting for documentation.
