Assist in the development and implementation of annual marketing strategies
Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate and execute campaigns that align to PGE’s organizational objectives.

Engage with customers through various channels to increase awareness, understanding and participation in PGE energy programs.

Key Responsibilities
Program Marketing Develops overall strategy for and manages and improves a portfolio of complex or highly visible marketing programs to meet PGE’s awareness/enrollments performance goals; leads initiatives to execute innovative, creative and cost-effective marketing and promotion plans aligned to other programs to meet strategic objectives; coordinates with internal stakeholders to prepare impactful and innovative collateral/communications for assigned marketing promotions and campaigns; coordinates PGE’s presence at trade shows and key industry events; maintains advertising rotation in trade publications; identifies new channel distribution.
Product Knowledge and Assessment Serves as department subject matter expert for developments and trends in the industry as well as assigned business segment(s) and shares information with internal stakeholders; works with employees on other teams to identify customer needs and evaluate potential product enhancements or extensions; analyzes complex data from multiple sources to decide which initiatives are likely to best map to the organization’s strategic goals.
Process/System Improvements Designs and implements complex or cross-functional customer service processes and procedures that ensure high quality customer experience; contributes to the continuous improvement of marketing materials, messaging, and systems.
Project Management For a broad range of product areas, manages project budgets, reviews product revenue and expenses, determines best uses of company resources for product promotions and campaigns, tracks product performance, analyzes product promotion/channel effectiveness at the end of each marketing cycle, documents findings and recommends changes to incorporate in future efforts; plans, organizes, coordinates and integrates internal and external operating departments needed to deliver marketing efforts; communicates effectively with team to ensure product promotion goals are met; prepares and provides reports for management and stakeholders.
Vendor Management May work with vendors and other internal stakeholders to resolve complex issues. May identify and implement opportunities for vendors to provide additional marketing channels.
Media Relations May serve as company spokesperson during storms and outages and, depending on position, may represent PGE at conferences, meetings, and events. May coordinate media-related events. Determines appropriate response to questions or comments from the public.
Events May plan large marketing events, at times in collaboration with outside organizations; may establish overall objectives and determine alignment to strategic objectives, set an agenda, select a venue, choose invitees, plan speakers and activities and hire appropriate vendors.
External Relationships and Communication Represents PGE interests on key advisory groups and with state and local agencies; collaborates with external entities to plan product promotions, share promotion metrics, report activities, and evaluate completed programs; participates in public meetings representing PGE point of view.
Education/Experience/CertificationsEducation Requires a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, economics, marketing or other related field or equivalent experience.Experience Typically five or more years in marketing, sales, project or program management in a customer-centric environment or related field; energy industry experience preferred.Certifications, Licenses and Training Marketing certification a plus.
