If you’re looking for a growth opportunity, join us at XPO.As the Senior Engineer, SCCM, you’ll assist with the administration and maintenance of the Systems Center solution working closely with peers in the deployment of Microsoft updates, third party patching, application and operating system deployments, and Windows 10 servicing. You will be responsible for resolving tickets and incidents opened by end users for SCCM clients, application/patch deployments, new system image certifications and Windows client deployments. Build, test and deploy the corporate desktop image management solution
Package, test and deploy business software packages and updates to the end user environment
Execute inventory management processes of end user hardware and software assets
Create scripting solutions within PowerShell for various process automations and administrative needs
Conduct testing and evaluation of new hardware models
Participate in standard image development, management, QA testing and deployment
Provide support for L2 issue escalations/tickets
What you need to succeed at XPO:At a minimum, you’ll need:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
2 years of experience supporting a large enterprise environment,
Experience implementing, monitoring, managing, and troubleshooting Microsoft Configuration Manager Current Branch (ConfigMan, SCCM, MECM, MEMCM, SMS), including but not limited to:
Client troubleshooting and remediation
Application packaging, deployment, monitoring, and reporting:
Creating Transforms (MSTs) for customizing MSI installers
Creating multiple deployment types for a single application
Understanding Supersedence, Dependencies, and Requirements
Operating System Deployment (OSD) using non-MDT Task Sequences
PXE support and troubleshooting
Microsoft patch management via Automatic Deployment Rules (ADRs) and Windows Server Update Service (WSUS)
Internet-Based Client Management (IBCM) or Cloud Management Gateway (CMG)
Configuration Settings and Baselines
Monitoring and resolving site component issues.
Creating complex queries directly against the ConfigMan database and WMI
Boundary and Boundary Group creation, modification, and troubleshooting
Microsoft BitLocker and Microsoft BitLocker Administration and Management (MBAM) integration
Configuring and maintaining Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC)
Client Settings configuration, deployment, and precedence
Central Administration Site (CAS) infrastructure
Interacting with ConfigMan client programmability methods
Experience with: PowerShell - Including interactions, integrations, and manipulations with, but not limited to: WMI, Registry, File System, REST APIs, JSON, XML, and PSObjects.
SQL Server: Creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting MS SQL databases, Maintenance plans for re-indexing or re-building, Reporting Services
Strong knowledge of: AD consisting of multiple forests and domains with varying levels of trust, DNS, and networking.
It’d be great if you also have experience with:
7+ years of experience supporting a large enterprise environment,
5+ years of experience implementing, monitoring, managing, and troubleshooting
System Center Orchestrator (SCORCH):Runbook creation, management, and troubleshooting
ConfigMan: Admin Service REST API, Intune Co-Management implementation, CMPivot, LEDBAT, Global Conditions
Third-party tools: Alternate Content Providers (ACPs) - Adaptiva OneSite or 1E Nomad, Patch Management Providers – PatchMyPC or IvantiShavlik, Dell Command | Integration Suite.
