AECOM is actively seeking a talented and experienced Senior Hydrogeologist to provide technical oversight and strategy on complex site investigation and remediation projects.  The successful candidate will oversee hydrogeologic-related activities on projects, manage and direct professional and technical staff, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with project teams and clients on technical and regulatory strategy.  Familiarity with Oregon and Washington environmental regulations is strongly preferred.Responsibilities/requirements of this position include: Manages and directs professional and technical staff to complete complex environmental projects. Leads team by utilizing advanced scientific principles, theories, practices existing technologies and past experience to develop technical solutions to complex problems. Requires general familiarity within a broad field of scientific knowledge of reciprocal effects of the work upon other disciplines/fields.Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance. Develops solutions which are highly innovative. Assignments are often self-initiated.  Oversees the preparation of technical documents and organizes project studies. Performs complex assignments often requiring the development of unique solutions to problems with the support of the project team. Supervises junior and mid-level staff during all phases of hydrogeologic-related project work. Proven experience successfully managing high-profile, complex projects. Thorough working knowledge of RCRA, CERCLA, and MTCA.
