Senior Project Manager

Job Title: Project ManagerJob DescriptionActalent is seeking to hire a Project Manager, who will be overseeing the planning and implementation of projects, including budgeting, hiring team members, sourcing suppliers, and planning the project release. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set to effectively manage project timelines, resources, and client communications. Strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of project management methodologies are a plus.Responsibilities

Develop project plans that identify resource and budgetary needs

Host project meetings at least once a week with team and managers

Provide feedback, advice, project updates, and encouragement to team members

Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness

Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed

Essential Skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in project management software

4+ years of project/program management experience

Experience working and overseeing large-scale projects from NPD through to final product

Experience using ERP systems at a high level

Experience overseeing designs and specifications within ABS rules and USCG regulations

Experience interfacing with customers and other departments to meet deadlines

B.S. in an engineering field

Additional Skills & Qualifications

PMP certification

Experience working in shipyard, marine, construction, or large complex fabrication industries

Experience working in DOD/DOT projects involving certain levels of quality control

Experience working with clients and extensive interpersonal skills

Work EnvironmentThe individual will be working fully onsite with the ability to work a flexible schedule, coming in earlier or later depending on morning and afternoon commitments outside of work. The position requires being in the office 90% of the time, collaborating with other PMs and engineers.
