$40 to attend a live virtual focus group on Friday, May 3 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm PST via Zoom.
Payment will be by Venmo after completion of the focus group and receipt of your written agreement to complete confidentiality of all matters discussed in the session. Please apply only if you are able to receive payment via Venmo.
Purpose:
You will listen to a brief presentation of a real, ongoing legal case and be asked to provide feedback. We are trying to gain insight from a wide range of non-lawyers about this case. Anyone over the age of 18 is welcome and encouraged to apply! We will give preference to applicants from Washington County, Oregon.
Requirements:
You must be comfortable discussing your opinions in front of other members of the group. We are paying to hear your thoughts about the case. You must be willing to allow us to record the session for our own later use. The recordings will never be sold or used outside of our legal practice. We promise your opinions will be respected and heard.
You must have a computer (laptop or desktop) or tablet (i.e. not a smart phone) with function microphone and camera, and a private, comfortable space with high-speed internet. If you have any connection issues, you will not be allowed to participate. We have found that phones distracting to participants because of the poor mic quality, bad internet connection, and unstable cameras.
You must be in a space with no other persons present (including children) during the entire two-hour session. Your full attention to the presentation is needed without distraction to yourself or other participants.
