Description Robert Half is currently recruiting a Benefits Administrator for our highly respected client. The benefits administrator will design and implement the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs. Common operations in this benefits administrator role will involve researching alternative benefits programs, implementing enhancements to current programs, and overseeing all general tasks associated with benefits administration. Evaluate and negotiate with all our service providers

Take steps to ensure that organization complies with applicable government regulations

Lead enrollments and determine employee eligibility

Review transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums and plan administration

Support administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes

Maintain professional communication with accounting department and work closely with them regularly

Ensure employees are aware of their benefit options

Take charge of daily benefits processing

Research employee benefits plans and vendors

Construct benefit appropriate programs such as insurance, wellness etc.

Coordinate leaves of absence and process claims or requests (medical operations, worker's compensation etc.) Requirements - Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources or similar relevant field

Familiarity with benefits contract language

Excellent communication and organization skills

3+ years of related benefits or employee benefits administration experience

Hands-on experience with data analysis

Advanced in office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
