Head Chef/Kitchen Manager for Farm-to-Table/Brewery

We have a full service kitchen in a brand new building on the Columbia River located in Cathlamet, Washington. We have a sister-company that is a local farm, where we intend to grow most produce and have farm to table food.

(1) We are located in Cathlamet, WA. If you don't live nearby you would likely need to relocate.

(2) We are focused on fine dining experiences and are only open from Wed-Sun for dinner service (4 p.m. to 9 p.m.)

(3) Pay is salary + tips, with total compensation averaging around $50-75K/year.

(5) We are focused on a short menu that rotates frequently.

(6) This is our first year in operation, but are averaging around 50-60/covers per night.

Responsibilities:

Cook and prepare dishes

Oversee the entire culinary operation, including menu planning, food production, and kitchen management.

Work with the farm to determine what plants should be planted for upcoming quarters.

Create and develop innovative and appealing menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of customers.

Monitor inventory levels and order supplies to maintain adequate stock of ingredients and kitchen equipment.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.

Collaborate with other departments, such as front-of-house staff, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
