Do you enjoy helping people, and are you often told you have excellent communication skills? If so, we want to bring on someone with fantastic customer service skills (or potential). Our positions are challenging and not for everyone. Please only apply if you're interested in helping people, cleaning, and restocking items.
This is a year-round position with plenty of hours available for the right candidate. We also have opportunities for advancement for someone obsessed with cleaning and offering fantastic customer service! Please feel free to email if you have any questions.
General Accountabilities:
Open and/or close the store.
Welcome customers and provide outstanding customer service.
Describe menu items to customers and/or suggest ice cream flavors that might appeal to them.
Provide samples and serve award-winning ice cream!
Receive and process customer payments.
Make waffle cones and other sweets.
Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment.
Clean lobby area.
Sweep and mop floors.
Clean windows.
Maintain ice cream: replenish, condense, and clean dipping cabinets.
Empty garbage and recycling.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities required:
Must be friendly and welcoming to all people.
Excellent communication skills.
Self-starter; takes initiative.
Neat, tidy, and well organized.
Must have a good sense of humor.
Must be comfortable communicating with crowds of people.
