Sandy Underground in downtown Sandy, Oregon is hiring kitchen staff immediately! We are a small (34 seat) 21+ cocktail bar with a small but popular scratch-made American comfort food menu that opened 7 weeks ago, and we hit the ground running!

Right now we’re looking for some extra hands in the kitchen to help us keep up with the growing demand. Currently our kitchen has a staff of one (me!) and two bartenders. We need to add on both a dishwasher and a second cook ASAP. Both positions will be expected to help with prep and food running as needed. If you're passionate about food, enjoy working with normal people without the corporate jargon and can hustle, we'd love to hear from you!
What We're Looking For:
Experience: Previous kitchen experience is a plus, but if you're eager to learn and can work quickly we’d be willing to train for the dishwashing job
Attitude: Positive, team-oriented, and ready to pitch in wherever needed
Availability/hours: As we are a bar, late-night evening and weekend availability is a must. We are currently open Wednesday-Sunday but hope to expand our hours to include Monday and Tuesday within the next month or two
Transportation: All staff members are required to have their own vehicular transportation due to our late hours of operation
What We Offer:
Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience (16+ for dishwashers, 18+ for cooks, cook wage highly dependent on experience - willing to have a conversation about it) + tips (minimum of $20 per shift, guaranteed)
