Uptown Barrel Room - Hiring Line Cook

We are looking for talented, well rounded line cooks to work with us! Ideal candidates will be motivated self-starters that work well in a fast-paced, team environment and enjoy creating world-class cuisine. Prepare food products in accordance with established recipes and specific instructions.

Cook items to order as described on Point of Sale (POS) tickets.

Proper storage and rotation of food.

Responsible for food sanitation and cleanliness standards, adhering to all Washington Food Safety regulations.

Cleaning of workspace/entire kitchen/Back of House (BOH) area.

Requirements: Culinary school graduate preferred.

5 or more years of verifiable direct culinary experience.

Washington Food Handlers certification required within 15 days of employment.

Ability to understand POS tickets.

Solid time management, organization and prioritization skills.

Applicant must pass company pre-employment background check.

Ability to stand, walk, bend and stoop for extended periods of time.

Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
