Line Cook Small Restaurant: Part Time

Adhere to high quality, food safety, sanitation, and timeliness of dishes served.

Responsible for being well-acquainted with all menu items, recipes, plating guidelines, and sanitation/basic safety information

Prepares food for service using knives, ovens, gas stoves, broiler, griddles

Maintains a clean and sanitary work station and working area

Minimum Qualifications 1 year Line Cook experience in active thriving restaurant.

Current food safety knowledge and valid Food Handler Card at time of hire.

A strong desire to learn and take action to protect the planet.

Ability to hustle without sacrificing quality or attention to detail.

Physical requirements - must be able to stand and move around a kitchen for up to 8 hours; lift and carry up to 50lbs.

Must be available 2,3P-9,9:30P Tuesdays and Wednesdays immediately with the addition of Thursday Friday and Saturday Late July and August. Full 28- 35 hours most likely available as late Fall early Dec. Added ability to cover shifts Sunday if needed but not likely
