Historic Portland music venue (65 to 100 seats) searching for a full-time music booker.
Our iconic venue has hosted thousands of shows and events over the past 23 years. Alas, our wonderful long-time music booker is retiring. We are looking for an individual who is plugged into the exceptional talent and depth of the Portland music scene, and who is capable of maintaining our tradition of providing extraordinary music shows seven days a week.
General duties include :
Book bands and performers for all shows and events. The venue hosts 1-2 shows per night /7 days a week.
Handle all communication/ contracts/ ticket sales/ performer payment and promotional material related to booking bands and shows. (Ticket sales are processed through Simple tix)
Create Monthly hard copy and digital calendar of events. Update the website to reflect changes in the calendar.
Communicate/ coordinate with venue staff/ door hosts/ sound engineers regarding all shows and events. ( Music booker responsible for scheduling sound engineers )

Our current booker will remain for the initial training of the new booker. The new booker will work part-time at an hourly wage during this time.
