Responsibilities:
-Gathers ingredients for assembling a variety of "ready to eat foods", traditional salads, etc.
-Evaluates finished products for appearance and texture according to finished product specifications
-Follows safety guidelines and uses caution in proper lifting techniques, handling of knives and operating machinery
-Other duties as assigned
Experience and Skill Requirements:
-One year of high-volume kitchen experience preferred, with strong emphasis on traditional deli fundamentals.
-Good verbal, written & literary skills
-Effective listening skills
-Good verbal, written, and literary skills
-Ability to work over time
-Attention to detail
-Positive can-do attitude, team player with a strong work ethic
-Effectively work as a team member and independently as required
-Work in a refrigerated environment between 34 - 38 degrees
-Lifts up to 25 lbs repeatedly; up to 60 lbs occasionally
-Full weekend and holiday availability
